Male Lyrebird Foraging
You can see literally dozens of different birds, from the majestic wedgetail eagles right down to wrens & honeyeaters with beautiful parrots, parrakeets and cockatoos in between. The lake, hosts sea eagles, black swans, ibis, storks, herons and often half a dozen pelicans. One of the most spectacular of Australian birds is the lyrebird, you will often see these birds along the roads within Kosciuszko National Park, particularly late winter/spring.
