Upper Murray Challenge

Now a well established event on the calendar, this event falls in the middle of spring - arguably the best time of year to visit the Upper Murray / Snowy Mountains area. With snow-capped mountains framing lush green countryside, sprinkled with wild flowers (including the famous alpine orchids) and blooming wattles in profusion. New born birds & animals everywhere, Spring in Khancoban is a very special time of year - bring the family up to experience "country" at it's best!!!

Held on the first Saturday of October ie 4th October 2008, the challenge is a test of stamina in three disciplines: run, paddle & bike. Open to individuals or groups, it is a spectacle well worth seeing.

2008 will see the race actually start in Khancoban - so book early to watch the thrills & spills!!!
